After 15 years of riding, our Director of Sales, Michael Brown, is taking on his biggest challenge yet – the WEMBO World Solo 24-Hour Mountain Bike Championships at Stromlo Forest Park, Canberra. 

This iconic race, held from 27-29 September 2024, is a true test of endurance and grit.

The Dream Becomes Reality

Mountain biking has been Michael’s passion for years, but this is his first-ever 24-hour solo race. His training now includes night rides and careful planning to tackle the physical and mental demands. The excitement of racing on a course that hosted the 2013 WEMBO Championships only adds to the thrill.

Stromlo Forest Park: A Rider's Dream

Stromlo’s challenging terrain, with its climbs and single tracks, is renowned worldwide. Michael knows that surviving 24 hours of continuous riding will push him to his limits. The unpredictable start time and potential fatigue won’t deter him – this is what he’s been preparing for.
