Team of 2 - Veterans 100+: A Unique Category

Competing in the Team of 2 - Veterans 100+ category adds an extra layer of complexity to the race. This category is for teams whose combined ages exceed 100 years, emphasising experience and teamwork over sheer speed.

Michael partnered with a fellow veteran rider, and together, they navigated the course, relying on each other’s strengths and supporting one another through the race’s toughest sections.

The Journey to 11th Place

Out of 161 riders, Michael and his partner secured an admirable 11th-place finish. This achievement was no small achievement, considering the calibre of competition and the physical demands of the race. Each stage brought its own set of obstacles, from treacherous trails to unpredictable weather conditions.
