Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has unveiled a new $25 million solar panel initiative aimed at easing cost-of-living pressures, including rising energy bills.

Federal-State Partnership to Deliver Renewable Energy

In a joint press conference with Climate Change and Energy Minister Chris Bowen, Albanese announced that the Commonwealth would collaborate with the New South Wales government to implement the program.

Fully Funded, State-Managed Rollout

Just in time for the 2025 Federal Election, Albanese is doing his best to appease the largest population hub in Australia, New South Wales, with a financial incentive yet to be offered by the Liberal Party. 

Nevertheless, there is still time for the Opposition to show their giving side and offer an initiative to combat the rising costs of household bills.
